FAQ
If you're looking for more information about mermaid swimming, check out the list of frequently asked questions below. Do you have a question that hasn't been addressed? Contact me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
FROM WHAT AGE CAN YOU SWIM LIKE A MERMAID?
To swim and undulate like a mermaid, you need to be comfortable and independent in the water. I take children from 7 years old because before that, they don't yet have enough coordination to enjoy the experience of transforming into a mermaid.
WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED TO PRACTICE MERMAIDING?
Mermaid swimming is practiced with a monofin and a mermaid costume, which I provide. All you need is a one-piece or two-piece swimsuit, goggles or a mask, and a towel to dry off after the session.
DO YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM TO EXPERIENCE MERMAID SWIMMING?
You don't need to be an academic swimmer to enjoy the benefits of mermaid swimming. The discipline is accessible to everyone as long as you're comfortable in the water and independent in deep water. To find out if you're comfortable in the water, a simple test is easy to perform in a pool: swim 25 meters without touching the edge of the pool.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MERMAID SWIMMING?
Mermaid swimming offers a unique experience that combines the joy of swimming with an artistic dimension. It promotes muscle strengthening, improves flexibility, and offers a fun approach to physical exercise.
IS MERMAID SWIMMING A GOOD PHYSICAL ACTIVITY?
Yes, mermaid swimming can be a great activity for both children and adults, promoting physical development, self-confidence, and a love of water. However, proper supervision is essential, especially for younger children.
